Amreen Dinani, MD ABOM FRCPC
Biography
Amreen Dinani is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Duke University. She is a hepatologist with board certification in Hepatology, Gastroenterology and Obesity Medicine. Her clinical and research work in metabolic dysfunction associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) and metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH) focuses on developing multidisciplinary clinical care pathways for identifying populations at high risk for MASLD fibrosis and bringing innovative tools and technologies to improve clinical care. She brings together her background in Obesity Medicine to her patients with liver disease and works with collaboration throughout the healthcare system to provide excellent care to her patients. She is the principal investigator of several industry sponsored trials in MASH but in addition has investigator-initiated studies in identifying populations at high-risk for MASLD. She serves as the MASLD Sig Vice Chair.
