David Wyles, MD

David Wyles, MD, FIDSA is a Senior Director in US Medical Affairs at Gilead Sciences, where he supports strategic medical affairs initiatives in liver disease and viral hepatitis. In his current role he collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to advance scientific understanding, support evidence-based medical decision-making, and develop research initiatives that address unmet needs in liver disease. Dr. Wyles is a physician-scientist with extensive experience in infectious diseases, hepatology and clinical research. Prior to joining Gilead, he held academic leadership positions and contributed extensively to clinical research, investigator-initiated studies, and the dissemination of scientific findings through peer-reviewed publications and presentations. He has been recognized for his expertise in hepatology, viral hepatitis, and translational research.
