Individuals who are living with liver disease, caring for someone with liver disease, or actively engaged in advocacy efforts to support liver health and improve patient outcomes. This category includes patients, caregivers, and advocates working to raise awareness, provide support, or influence liver-related healthcare and policy.

CANCELLATION POLICY  

Registered attendees may cancel their participation in writing for The Liver Meeting® at any time before October 15, 2026, however will incur a $50.00 administrative fee. Cancellations received on or after October 15, 2026 will not be refunded. Contact meetings@aasld.org to submit a cancellation.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Will TLMdX onDemand or  live streaming be offered this year? Live streaming will not be available for 2026. However, TLMdX onDemand will feature content captured during the meeting and will be available after the meeting concludes. 
  • What content will be available OnDemand? Popular sessions like the Postgraduate Course, International Liver Transplantation Society (ILTS) Course, and Obesity Medicine will be available.  

  • Why did the TLM26 program dates shift? TLM 2026 coincides with Diwali, a holiday deeply meaningful to many of our attendees. To ensure as many as possible can participate in our programming, TLM will begin one day earlier, on Thursday, November 5, and conclude on Monday, November 9.

  • How do I register my group? Group registrations can be completed online starting Wednesday, July 22. A group leader will need to be created to complete a group registration 
    • A valid, unique email address for each person registered is required for Certificate of Attendance and CME.  
    • The email address of the group leader / organizer or sponsoring / organizing company will not be accepted. 
  • What is a group leader? A group leader can create a group record through the registration system. Leaders are able to register group members, make changes to existing records, and apply payments. By submitting this information, on behalf of others, leaders confirm they are authorized to do so by each individual.  
  • What information is required to register an attendee in a group registration?  Group leaders will need the following information for each registrant:  
    • First and Last Name  
    • Company  
    • Mailing Address including city, country, postal code / zip code 
    • Phone number  
    • Email address  
    • A valid work or personal email address  
    • Attendee type, view attendee types above  
    • AASLD member number, if an AASLD member  
      • Membership discounts will not be applied without the AASLD membership ID  
      • AASLD members must be in good standing at the time of registration. The system matches first and last names as they appear in the membership record, so accurate spelling is important.  
      • If you are interested in becoming a member – registrants receive up to 40% off their registration – or need to verify a members’ status, please contact aasld@aasld.org.   
      • Refunds for registration differences cannot be completed.  
  • What happens after I create a group and add attendees? After the group order is completed and payment has been made, all registrants will receive an unique link emailed to them directly to answer mandatory questions located in the Registration Resource Center.  
    • Questions include opt-in/out preferences, Code of Conduct, Terms and Conditions, liability disclaimers, and data privacy policies.  
  • Will attendees receive registration confirmation? Participation will not be confirmed until the individual clicks their unique link and answers the questions.  
    • Upon completion, the confirmation will be emailed and includes TLMdX onDemand login credentials and information about participating in-person, if applicable.  
  • How do attendees collect their badges onsite? Each registrant’s badge is linked to their contact information (email and first / last name) used at the time of registration.  
  • How is contact information for my group of registrants used? Registered attendees will receive emails directly from The Liver Meeting® about CMEs, Certificates of Attendance, conference and programming evaluations, and online access to meeting recordings on LiverLearning®. 

  • Credit card payment is required at the time of registration. Accepted cards include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.  
  • Cash is not accepted onsite for payment.
