Professor McCaughan is a transplant hepatologist with laboratory interests in the cellular and molecular basis of liver injury,cancer ,liver allograft rejection and tolerance .Major clinical interests include HBV,HCV .MAFLD ,Liver transplant outcomes and the reversal of extrahepatic diseases by liver transplantation.He has published over 600 papers with a HI of 97 ( GS)
