Biography
I am a molecular and vascular biologist specializing in liver heterogeneity, with a broad background in biology and bioinformatics. My research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms that regulate vascular fate, endothelial cell identity, and vascular adaptability, and how these processes influence liver homeostasis. By investigating these mechanisms, my work aims to advance the field of Vascular Medicine and uncover new therapeutic opportunities. The overarching goal of my laboratory is to develop innovative strategies to promote liver repair and regeneration by restoring and harnessing the regenerative functions of its blood vessels.
