Biography

Joseph Gunderson is an internal medicine resident at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. A graduate of the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson, his clinical and research interests include prevention, screening, and surveillance of gastrointestinal malignancies, clinical manifestations of dilated colonic pathologies, cardiovascular risk optimization in liver transplant patients. He is also passionate about medical education. After residency, he aims to pursue a career in academic gastroenterology and hepatology.
