Mohamed Elbadry, MD

Prof. Mohamed Elbadry is a Professor of Endemic Medicine at Capital University in Cairo, Egypt, and a Consultant Hepatogastroenterologist with over two decades of clinical and academic experience. Prof. Elbadry's research focuses on hepatology, gastroenterology, and infectious diseases, with 55 international publications. Prof Elbadry is the General Secretary of the Steatotic Liver Disease Study Foundation in MENA (SLMENA) and the Egyptian Association for Research and Training in Hepatogastroenterology (EARTH), and a Co-Principal Investigator on multiple research grants, including a project on COVID-19 epigenetics. An active mentor, Prof Elbadry has supervised over 22 postgraduate theses and serves as a peer reviewer for several international journals.
