Biography
Oren Fix, MD, MSc, FAASLD is a Professor of Medicine, Medical Director of Liver Transplantation, Lead Informatics Physician, and the Associate Program Director of the Clinical Informatics Fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is board certified in Clinical Informatics, a certified Epic Physician Builder, Epic Cosmos Data Scientist, and past-chair of the Epic Hepatology Specialty Steering Board. He is a former AASLD Governing Board member, and currently serves AASLD as the chair of the Clinical Informatics and Digital Health SIG, Associate Editor of Liver Transplantation, and co-chair of the Workforce of the Future Task Force.
