Robert De Jong, RDMS, RVT, FSDMS, FAIUM

Bob has been a sonographer since 1976 and is registered in abdominal and vascular sonography. He retired from the radiology ultrasound division of The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland in 2018 where he was in charge of the technical aspects of the department. Also in 2018 he started an ultrasound education company, Bob DeJong, LLC. He has written ultrasound textbooks, chapters in textbooks, and lectures on ultrasound related topics at local and national ultrasound meetings. Bob is very involved with the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, SDMS, where he is currently the secretary on the Board of Directors.
