Biography
Sri Harsha Boppana, MD, is a PGY-3 Internal Medicine resident at Nassau University Medical Center (NuHealth) in East Meadow, New York, and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His research focuses on artificial intelligence and machine learning in gastroenterology and hepatology, with particular interest in liver disease outcomes, liver transplantation, and AI-assisted endoscopy and imaging. He has authored more than 45 peer-reviewed publications, over 90 journal abstracts, and 3 book chapters. Dr. Boppana is pursuing a career as a physician-scientist in gastroenterology and hepatology, with the goal of translating data-driven tools into better care for patients with digestive and liver disease.
