Xiaoying Liu
Biography
I am a research faculty at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. My research goal is to identity new targets for therapeutic intervention for liver injury and fibrosis, with a focus on MAFLD/MASH and cholestatic liver diseases. I am particularly interested in the role of the unfolded protein response (UPR), an ER stress-induced adaptive response, in the pathogenesis of liver diseases.
