Andrew Keaveny, MD, FRCPI, FAASLD

Biography

Dr. Andrew Keaveny is a Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Staff and Consultant Hepatologist at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. He graduated from the medical school at University College Dublin and pursued post-graduate training in Ireland and Boston, Massachusetts. His research interests include treatment of portal hypertension and improving outcomes after liver transplantation. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland and the AASLD. Throughout his career, he has been very active in post-graduate education. He is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine Transplant Hepatology Approval Committee.
