Denisse Rubio Cruz

Biography

Denisse Rubio Cruz, MD is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Hepatology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. She received her medical degree from Universidad de los Andes in Colombia. Under the mentorship of Z. Gordon Jiang MD, PhD, she conducts translational liver research on ex vivo tissues, using the human precision-cut liver slice (PCLS) model. Her study is focused on cellular dynamic changes and inherent plasticity of liver tissues for understanding human disease.
