Biography

Dr. Joanna Dionne is an clinician-scientist and Associate Professor, Divisions of Gastroenterology and Critical Care Medicine, in the Departments of Medicine and Health Research Methods, Evidence and Impact at McMaster University, and associate member of the Farncombe Institute. Dr. Dionne received her MD, MSc and PhD in Health Research Methodology (HRM) as well as postgraduate training in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, Critical Care Medicine, and Clinician Investigator Program (CIP) at McMaster University. She has received peer-reviewed funding from PSI, CAG and CIHR. Dr. Dionne has also served as a chair of guideline methodology for Canadian Blood Services (CBS), European Society of Intensive Care Medicine and the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM).
