Kenichi Ikejima

Biography

Kenichi IKEJIMA is currently a Professor of Department of Gastroenterology at Juntendo University Graduate School of Medicine since 2017. His expertise covers both clinical and basic aspects of a variety of liver diseases, especially focusing on steatotic liver disease. He is currently a director of International Society for Biomedical Research on Alcoholism (ISBRA), president elect of International Society for Hepatic Sinusoidal Research (ISHSR), and a member of guideline committee for Metabolic dysfunction-associated liver disease (MASLD) in the Japanese Society of Gastroenterology (JSGE) and Japan Society of Hepatology (JSH).
