Short bio: Kristine Drozd has been a liver Nurse Practitioner at Yale New Haven Health/Yale Medicine for 13 years. She works in outpatient non-transplant hepatology clinic with special focus in viral hepatitis, non-invasive liver fibrosis assessment, and medical weight management for MASLD. Her career in hepatology has been primarily focused on Hepatitis B and C treatment, and she has participated in many clinical trials for the current therapies. She has a strong clinical interest in the screening, treatment, and management of viral hepatology patients, particularly those in special at-risk populations. She is fortunate to have the opportunity to learn and grow at work each day with the support of colleagues and peers. She enjoys attending the AASLD liver meeting each year and is an active member of the AASLD Associate's Committee, HBV SIG steering committee Associate Lead, and a mentor for the ELAAP program.
