Biography

Lisa Catalli is a Nurse Practitioner in the Hepatology Department at the University of California San Francisco and an assistant clinical professor at the UCSF School of Nursing. She holds a Master of Science degree and is currently pursuing a PhD at the UCSF School of Nursing. With over 15 years of experience in Hepatology, Lisa specializes in viral hepatitis and MASLD across the liver disease spectrum, including care for liver transplant recipients. Lisa is committed to addressing health disparities and supporting vulnerable populations affected by liver disease through collaborative initiatives at UCSF, including Project ECHO and the DeLiver Care mobile van. She focuses on integrating behavioral health within clinical care and co-founded the UCSF BRIDGE to Liver Health program, a comprehensive group clinic visit series aimed at enhancing self-management for individuals with MASLD. Her research contributions have been recognized with ASTS Advanced Transplant Provider Research Grants in 2021 and 2023. Lisa serves as the principal investigator of the BRIDGE research study at UCSF.
