Dr. Manhal Izzy is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University. He serves as the director for the Transplant Hepatology fellowship program and the director of Hepatology research. His research investigates the cardiometabolic disorders and clinical outcomes in patients with chronic liver disease and liver transplant recipients with a special focus on Cirrhotic Cardiomyopathy. He has published over 90 peer reviewed articles, and he currently serves as associate editor for Liver Transplantation.
