Nikhil Kalita, MPH

Biography

Nikhil Kalita holds degrees from accelerated programs at the George Washington University. He joined the UC San Diego Health MASLD Research Center in June 2024. His work focuses on coordinating clinical research studies on non-invasive diagnostics of liver disease, focusing on patients with diabetes, cirrhosis, and MASLD. He also contributes to literature reviews and analyzes clinical and national datasets like NHANES to support ongoing research. Motivated by a passion for health equity and preventive care, Nikhil is driven by the potential of research to improve clinical practice and reach underserved populations.
