Biography

Valentina Medici MD, FAASLD, is a Professor in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at University of California Davis. Dr. Medici studied at University of Padova and University of California Davis. She conducts industry-funded clinical trials, including gene therapy, on Wilson disease and her basic science research on mouse models of aberrant copper metabolism has been funded by NIH. She is the Director of UC Davis Center of Excellence for Wilson disease.
