Biography

Vikram Raghu, MD, MS, is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh and a pediatric gastroenterologist and hepatologist at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. His research focuses on data-driven decision-making and health economic modeling in pediatric intestinal failure and transplantation. He is a co-investigator on the FDA-funded R01 supporting the International Intestinal Failure Registry and has served on its steering committee since 2018. Dr. Raghu has co-authored over 30 manuscripts and multiple society guidelines in the fields of pediatric intestinal rehabilitation and transplant. His work aims to inform complex care decisions—including those surrounding PNALD—by integrating clinical insight, health economics, and policy.
