Biography

A Pennsylvania native, Dr. Vahora is proud to return to his alma mater, The George Washington University, where he currently serves as the Medical Director of Liver Transplantation. He completed his internal medicine residency at Case Western Reserve University's MetroHealth Medical Center, followed by a hepatology fellowship at AdventHealth Transplant Institute (formerly Florida Hospital Transplant Institute) and a gastroenterology fellowship at East Carolina University / Vidant Medical Center.

Dr. Vahora's clinical expertise includes the management of portal hypertension, liver cirrhosis, alcoholic liver disease, viral hepatitis, cholestatic and autoimmune liver conditions, fatty liver disease, hepatocellular carcinoma, and both pre- and post-operative care of adult liver transplant recipients. He also treats a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal disorders.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Vahora is actively engaged in clinical research and medical education. He is committed to advancing the field of hepatology through academic collaboration and mentorship.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Vahora enjoys a wide range of sports including soccer, football, and baseball. He is an avid runner and outdoor enthusiast who spends his free time fishing, hiking, and kayaking. A fan of live music and travel, he appreciates opportunities to explore new places and cultures.
