Howard (Tzu-Hao) Lee, MD
Biography
Dr. Howard Lee (he/him/his) is a transplant hepatologist and assistant professor at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas. He completed his internal medicine residency, gastroenterology, and transplant hepatology fellowship at Duke. Dr. Lee's academic interests include viral hepatitis, liver transplant, technologies and applications, and diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a special focus on the LGBTQ+ population. Dr. Lee is the chairman of the LGBTQ+ subcommittee and an executive board member of Rainbows in Gastro, and the Inclusion, Diversity, Equality, and Access to Life (IDEAL) Committee of the American Society of Transplant (AST).
