What to Know Before You Go

At The Liver Meeting® (TLM), it’s your opportunity to turn discovery into better outcomes, share breakthrough research with the global hepatology community, and rise together to achieve better outcomes for patients worldwide. To help you make the most of your experience, here are three timelines to help you prepare!

How to Prepare the Week Before #TLM26

Your Liver Meeting experience is just around the corner! With a little preparation, you can make the most of your time in Denver, from planning your schedule to navigating downtown Denver and the Convention Center.

The week before you arrive, use this checklist so you can focus on learning, connecting, and ELEVATING your experience.

Download the mobile app before you arrive to begin reviewing the program, building your schedule, and making time for networking.

  • Before your download. Be prepared with your registration ID and the email address you used to register.
  • Download. Search “AASLD TLM26” or click here to scan the QR code (from your phone) to begin downloading.
  • Watch this video. Learn how to navigate the TLM26 mobile app with this one-minute tutorial.

Make your travel plans ahead of time so you know how to get to the meeting and where to go when you arrive.

  • Entrance. Enter on the right or left side doors of where the Big Blue Bear is located, registration is in the lobby of the first floor.
  • Allow for extra travel time. Depending on your departure location and transportation method, getting to the Colorado Convention Center may take up to 45 minutes.
  • For additional information on traveling to Denver and around downtown, visit here.

💡Insider Tip: If you are arriving or departing from the airport, account for approximately 15 minutes to reach ground transportation, in addition to your travel time.

The Liver Meeting is a great opportunity to learn, connect, and network with colleagues from around the world. Plan to dress comfortable and professionally!

  • Dress in layers. Denver weather can be cool in November, and the Colorado Convention Center may feel colder than expected. Bring a sweater, jacket, or other layer, so you can stay comfortable throughout the day.
  • Wear comfortable shoes. Colorado Convention Center has long corridors, and you’ll spend time walking between sessions, the exhibit and poster hall, and activities.
  • Business Casual. Choose comfortable, professional clothing suitable for sessions, meeting activities, and networking.

A full day of sessions, networking, and exploring the meeting floor can keep you moving. Make hydration part of your daily plan!

  • Refillable water bottle. Bring a refillable water bottle with you each day.
  • Water breaks. Take regular water breaks throughout the day.
  • Water as you go. Keep water with you as you move between spaces and take a moment to pause.

💡Insider Tip: Add a quick hydration break – at the TLM26 Hydration Station – into your schedule. Your body (and mind!) will thank you!
