Event Cancellation Policy
Registered attendees may cancel their participation in writing for the in-person or digital component of The Liver Meeting at any time before Oct. 15 and will incur a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations for the in-person component received on or after Oct. 15 will not be refunded. Please email meetings@aasld.org to submit any cancellation requests.

When will registration for The Liver Meeting® (TLM) open?
Registration for The Liver Meeting® opened to AASLD members on Wednesday, July 16. All attendees will be able to register beginning on Wednesday, July 23. For the most up-to-date information, please visit the official TLM website.
What’s included when you register for The Liver Meeting®?
In-person attendees get access to the meeting programming, networking events, receptions, and other conference offerings—plus complete access to TLM’s digital experience, TLMdX.
A TLM in-person registration includes:
- Presentations by key opinion leaders, including the President’s Welcome by AASLD President, Grace Su, MD, FAASLD.
- Informal networking opportunities, including meet and greets with patients, advocates, and healthcare professionals in designated lounges.

What hotels has AASLD secured for TLM?
AASLD has negotiated discounted rates at 18 area hotels–all within walking distance—less than a 1/2 mile to the show site. Secure your room at AASLD headquarters hotels, Marriott Marquis Washington D.C., and Westin D.C. Downtown, before they sell out.
When is the AASLD hotel discount deadline?
Housing deadlines for headquarters hotels are Thursday, October 16, and all other hotels are Thursday, Oct. 30.
What are AASLD Headquarters hotels, and how do they differ from other hotels?
The Headquarters Hotels for TLM 2025 are the Marriott Marquis Washington DC and the Westin DC Downtown. These properties represent our largest and closest hotel blocks to the convention center and will host the majority of our speakers, members, and leadership. Many core activities and events—such as Satellite Symposia and Governance Meetings—will also take place at these locations.

What’s new for this year?
Important Notice of New Registration Process—as part of AASLD's conference registration process, all registrants are individually required to answer a series of registration questions. Questions include opt-in/out preferences, Code of Conduct, Terms and Conditions, liability disclaimers, and data privacy policies.
After the group order is completed and payment has been made, all registrants will receive an email linking them to mandatory questions located in the Registration Resource Center.
Each link is unique to the individuals' email address.
Participation at The Liver Meeting® will not be confirmed until the individual answers the questions. Upon completion, a registration confirmation will be emailed with TLMdX® login credentials and information about participating in-person, if applicable. It is important that this information is shared with each member of your group.
What is a Group Leader?
Group Leaders can create a group record through the AASLD registration system in late summer. They will be able to register group members, make changes to existing records, and apply payments. By submitting this information on behalf of others, Group Leaders confirm they are authorized to do so by each individual.
How do I register my group?
Group registrations can be completed online starting Wednesday, July 23.
Please note: A valid, unique email address for each person registered is required for Certificate of Attendance and CME. The email address of the group leader/organizer or sponsoring/organizing company will not be accepted.
What information is required of each registered attendee?
The following information is required for each registered attendee:
- First and Last Name
- Company
- Mailing Address
- City/Country/Postal Code/ ZIP Code
- Phone
- Email Address
- A valid, unique work or personal email is required for each individual.
- Attendee Type (e.g. doctor, administrator, nurse, etc.)
- AASLD Membership Number, if an AASLD Member
How do I know which category to use when registering an individual?
AASLD offers different registration categories based on each person's training or employment. Use the guide below to choose the right category for each member of your group. If someone is an AASLD member, their membership rate will be applied automatically during registration.
- Nonmember: Any physician, scientist, or researcher with doctoral-level training OR any individual working in or related to the healthcare industry who does not have medical training.
- Trainee Nonmember: Any physician, scientist or researcher in a training program as certified by the director of their training program. Program director contact information will be required for verification purposes to register under this category.
- Hepatology Associate Nonmember: Allied health professionals with medical training other than doctoral-level training. This category includes, but is not limited to, the degrees of MS, NP, PA, RN, and other related or comparable degrees.
- Student Nonmember: Individuals who are pursuing a medical, undergraduate or graduate degree. Department head contact information (name, institution, and email address) will be required for verification purposes to register under this category.
- Member*: Any current Regular, International, Emeritus, or Corporate Affiliate member of AASLD. Current members are those individuals who have paid their dues for the current calendar year.
- Trainee Member*: Any current Trainee or International Trainee member of AASLD. Current members are those individuals who have paid their dues for the current calendar year.
- Hepatology Associate Member*: Any current Associate member of AASLD.
- Student Member*: Any current Student Member of AASLD. Current members are those individuals who have paid their dues for the current calendar year.
*AASLD members must be in good standing at the time of registration. The system matches first and last names exactly as they appear in our records, so accurate spelling is important. To verify a delegate’s membership status, please contact aasld@aasld.org. Note: If a delegate joins or renews after registration is completed, we cannot refund the difference in registration fees.
How is the contact information for my group of registrants used?
Attendees participating in The Liver Meeting® will be sent several offers requiring a unique email address for each user. These offerings include CME, Certificates of Attendance, conference and programming evaluation, and online access to meeting recordings on LiverLearning®.
Each registrant’s badge number is linked to their contact information provided at registration. When attendees visit the in-person Exhibit Hall, exhibitors may request contact information to be shared. In those cases, exhibitors and supporters will scan their badge to receive a registrant’s details (name, email, organization, mailing address, and country) for promotional purposes. Attendees can choose to opt-in or opt-out of sharing this information during registration.
