Presenters: Jess Wisocky; Howard Lee, MD; Kaitlin Matlick-Petschutat, NP

LGBTQ+ populations, especially MSM and transgender people, remain disproportionately affected by viral hepatitis, yet these topics are often underemphasized in hepatology education. As a result, the public-health information environment for LGBTQ+ has become less stable.

Hepatology providers, this webinar will provide a trusted, specialty-based educational forum to review evidence, clarify best practices, and discuss stigma-free, prevention-focused care for LGBTQ+ individuals. During this presentation, faculty discussions and expert experience will also further support the need for practical education on topics including:
     · Affirming sexual health conversations
     · Hepatitis A outbreaks and vaccination
     · Hepatitis B prevention
     · Prescribing PrEP in people with chronic hepatitis B
     · Hepatitis C elimination and education strategies in MSM and transgender communities

This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.
