A leader in building executive presence, she will share tips and tricks on how to drive success at the highest levels. In this role, Heidi leads efforts across the organization to advance the Research mission and strategic priorities of Mayo Clinic. The mission of research at Mayo is to transform the practice through the discovery-translation-application continuum, addressing the unmet needs of patients.
Ms. Dieter has held several leadership roles in her 17 years at Mayo Clinic. Prior to her current role, she served as the associate administrator for the Mayo Clinic Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery. Before joining Mayo Clinic, she spent 10 years as an administrator in long-term care, rehabilitation and assisted living communities across the country.
Ms. Dieter’s passion is accelerating research to meet unmet clinical needs of patients, ensuring they have access to treatment, when they need it most, wherever they are located. In addition, she has a strong interest in developing young leaders who will drive the future transformation of healthcare.
Outside of work, Ms. Dieter serves on the Board of Directors for Medical Alley and is involved in several nonprofit organizations, including Minnesota
Adult & Teen Challenge.
Ms. Dieter received her Master of Business Administration and Certificate in Health Services Management from Keller Graduate School of Management in Chicago, Illinois.
