AASLD Endorsement Policy
The American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) will only endorse educational or scientific programs relevant to the practice or science of Hepatology.
• Note: Annual meetings or regular meetings of other national medical societies will not be eligible for endorsement.
• Specific program requirements: The program must be composed of high-quality presentations given by experts that are free of commercial bias.
• Renewal: Endorsement of previous programs does not guarantee continued endorsement; each new iteration of an activity requires a new application.
There are two endorsement categories:
1. CME-accredited activities
- If an organization wants to request an endorsement for a CME-accredited activity, it must adhere to the Policy on Partnership with Outside Organizations with Educational Endorsements.
