​1. How long will general elections run?
The AASLD general election will run from noon EDT on Thursday, Sept. 10 through Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026 at 11:59 pm EDT

2. Is anyone eligible to vote?
You must be an active member of AASLD to vote.

3. Where can I find a link to submit my ballot?
All AASLD members will receive an automatic email from Election Runner with a voter ID/key. The email will provide you with the direct link to the election ballot. Please note that the voter link is unique to you, so please do not share with others. Below is an example of the email you will receive.

4. I have not received an email from Election Runner, what should I do? 
Check your spam or junk folder for an email from “AASLD.” The subject line will read: “Your Invitation to Vote in the Election: %YOUR_ELECTION_NAME%.” If you still cannot locate your Election Runner email, please contact: election@aasld.org.

5. When will election results be announced? 
Election results will be announced in mid-October. 

Results will be officially confirmed by the AASLD membership at the Annual Business Meeting at The Liver Meeting® on Friday, Nov. 6. All AASLD members are invited to attend.
