Vice President, Education & Meetings

AASLD has an immediate opening for a Vice President, Education and Meetings to help lead AASLD’s education and meetings programs. This person is responsible for the overall direction of AASLD’s education and meetings programs. This includes the overall strategy of AASLD’s education initiatives, meetings management and logistics, exhibit and sponsorship relations, and budget management (including revenue generation) in collaboration with the AASLD leadership team, member leaders and department staff.

The successful candidate has the skills and mindset to thrive as a senior leader in a fast-paced, mission-driven association. They are able to both strategize and execute and have the ability to drive effective operations.

Education Coordinator

AASLD seeks a detail-oriented individual with exceptional interpersonal skills to coordinate the implementation of AASLD’s abstract submission and review processes, and COI process for abstract submitters, reviewers, and scientific session moderators for AASLD’s annual meeting, The Liver Meeting® and Digestive Disease Week® (DDW). The incumbent will provide administrative support for related educational activities, including speaker management.

The successful candidate will be professional and an energetic, proactive self-starter, with strong administrative, communication, writing, and customer service skills, who is eager to join an energetic team.
