Publications Coordinator

AASLD, an association for scientists and health care providers in the field of liver disease, seeks a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and administrative skills as well as the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work well in a team environment. This individual will be responsible for providing administrative and project support to the Chief Communications Officer for the department’s medical journals and public policy efforts.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of three year’s administrative or relative work experience working with a membership association. Knowledge of MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat, association management databases, strong organizational skills, ability to communicate clearly, analytical thinking ability, attention to detail, as well as excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are required.

Coordinator, Abstracts

AASLD, an association for scientists and health care providers in the field of liver disease, is seeking a detail-oriented individual with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines. Familiarity with CME and CE processes preferred.

Responsibilities include coordination and implementation of AASLD’s abstract submission and review processes, and COI processes for abstract submitters, reviewers, and scientific session moderators. Applicant should have excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Some travel is required.
