Hepatology Associates, especially those early in their careers, report uncertainty about how to navigate large national meetings like TLM (e.g., how to choose sessions, network, and plan effectively). This activity will offer a structured support and peer-to-peer mentoring opportunity around professional development and national meeting engagement. Hepatology associates from AASLD have requested a strong interest in discussions related to obtaining professional development, networking, and conference preparation. This activity will offer ways to better support the transition from trainee to active participant at national meetings. Peer-reviewed literature on early-career engagement in specialty conferences (e.g., JAMA, Hepatology Communications) underscores the value of mentorship and structured guidance for maximizing educational and career-building opportunities.

This activity will be applicable for nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, physician assistants, transplant coordinators and others who are first time attendees to The Liver Meeting 2025 (TLM).

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
-Describe at least two practical strategies for navigating The Liver Meeting (TLM) as a first-time or early-career attendee.
-Identify key opportunities and approaches to engage with mentors, peers, and professional development resources at TLM
-Demonstrate increased confidence in participating in TLM sessions, networking events, and poster presentations, as measured by post-session self-assessment

This activity will not offer CE Credits.
