The CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) has voted to end the universal hepatitis B birth dose, recommending instead that infants born to mothers who test negative receive their first vaccine at two months of age.
There is still time to prevent this policy from moving forward. Tell Congress to urge HHS and CDC to reject this proposal and retain universal birth-dose vaccination in the immunization schedule.
