JeongSu Park, Ph.D., is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine, where his research focuses on the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying chronic liver disease and liver fibrosis. His work aims to understand hepatocyte-driven mechanisms of liver injury, inflammation, and fibrosis and to identify novel therapeutic targets for metabolic liver disease.

Shaopeiwen Luo recently completed her PhD in the Signature Research Programme in Cardiovascular and Metabolic Disorders at Duke-NUS Medical School, Singapore, where she established a dietary mouse model showing that excess salt produces a lean MASH phenotype distinct from obese MASH in hepatic urea cycle activity, EIF5A hypusination, and immune cell activation. She holds a BSc in Biochemistry and a BA in Business from the University of Rochester, USA.

Dr. Mayank Choubey is an Associate Scientist at the Diabetes & Obesity Research Center, NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine, in the laboratory of Dr. Qing Robert Miao. His research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of aging-associated MASH and hepatic fibrosis, with a particular interest in how nuclear receptor post-translational modifications regulate ferroptosis and cellular senescence in the aged liver. He completed his Ph.D. at Banaras Hindu University, India, and held postdoctoral positions at Columbia University and NYU before his current role.

Dr Jorg Taubel - CEO and Co-Founder at Richmond Pharmacology

Dr Jorg Taubel is a clinical pharmacologist and CEO of Richmond Pharmacology, a leading centre for experimental medicine that he co-founded in 2001. He has served as Principal Investigator in more than 500 Phase 1–3 trials and is an MHRA-recognised investigator for First-in-Human studies. Dr Taubel dosed the first patient in the landmark NTLA-2001 CRISPR-Cas9 in vivo gene editing trial for transthyretin amyloidosis and has since led multiple gene editing studies, establishing Richmond as a global leader in this field.
