The purpose of this webinar is to present strategies to approach patient and family communication near the end-of-life in the setting of advanced liver disease with a focus on issues related to equity, diversity and inclusion. Patients with advanced liver disease experience high symptom burden, emotional distress, and prognostic uncertainty which makes them particularly vulnerable to suboptimal end-of-life care.
