I am a Transplant Hepatologist at Virginia Commonwealth University. I was an Emerging Liver Scholar in 2020 and received the 2024 Ashwani K. Singal Advanced/Transplant Hepatology Fellow Award for Research in Alcohol-Associated Liver Disease. My research interest is in alcohol associated liver disease (ALD), particularly in the early diagnosis and prevention of ALD, the steatotic liver disease spectrum, and women's health.

Nneka N. Ufere, MD MSCE is a transplant hepatologist and Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. She is a health services and patient-centered outcomes researcher whose work is at the intersection of hepatology, transplant, and palliative care. As a clinical trialist, she develops and tests supportive care interventions aimed at increasing the quality of life, quality of care, and healthcare system empathy for patients with cirrhosis and their families.

Dr. Benjamin L. Shneider is the George Peterkin Endowed Chair and Head of the Section of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children's Hospital. Dr. Shneider is a Pediatric Hepatologist actively involved in clinical and translational investigations of pediatric liver diseases.

Patrick Northup is a professor of medicine, medical director of liver transplantation at the Transplant Institute of New York University Langone Health, and director of adult health system hepatology services at NYU Langone in New York City. Dr. Northup has research interests in vascular disorders of the liver, coagulopathy of liver disease, portal vein thrombosis, anticoagulation in liver disease, liver transplantation, organ allocation, and transplantation regulatory oversight.

Dr. Arab is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition of Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. He serves as the Inaugural Director of Alcohol Sciences at the Stravitz-Sanyal Institute for Liver Disease and Metabolic Health. Dr. Arab trained as Gastroenterologist and Transplant Hepatologist specialist at the Catholic University of Chile and at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. Dr.

Shari Rogal is a transplant hepatologist and Associate Director of the VA's Center for Healthcare Evaluation, Research, and Promotion. She is a Professor of Medicine, Surgery, and Clinical and Translational Science at the University of Pittsburgh where her research focuses on using precision implementation to improve the equity and quality of care for complex patient populations.

Tatsuya Kanto is a researcher and hepatologist/physician with expertise in immunology in liver diseases. He earned a PhD at Osaka University and worked as a research associate in dendritic cell biology at the University of Pittsburgh, USA, from 1998 to 2001. He worked as an Associate Professor at Osaka University from 2003 to 2013 and moved to the National Center for Global Health and Medicine (NCGM). His current position is Director General at the Research Center for Hepatitis and Immunology, Japan Institute for Health Security (JIHS).

Andres Duarte-Rojo is a clinical investigator and a professor at Northwestern, Feinberg School of Medicine. He is the current Section Chief of Hepatology, and Medical Director for the Liver Transplant Program at Northwestern's Comprehensive Transplant Center. Following completion of internal medicine and gastroenterology programs, he trained in clinical hepatology (U. Toronto) and transplant hepatology (Mayo Clinic). His academic training includes a Doctorate (PhD) and a Master's degree (MSCI) in clinical investigation from the National University of Mexico (UNAM).

Nadia Ovchinsky, MD, MBA, FAASLD is Chief of the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Hassenfeld Children's Hospital at NYU Langone and Professor of Pediatrics at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Dr. Ovchinsky received her combined Doctor of Medicine and Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management degrees at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Rutgers University. Dr.

Dr. Davis is the Director of Liver Transplant at the Washington DC VA Medical Center. She is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University. Her clinical interests include pharmacotherapy for metabolic liver disease, portal vein thrombosis and procedural bleeding in cirrhosis.
