I am currently Professor and Vice Chair for Research of the Department of Anesthesiology, McGovern Medical School, University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). I received my PhD in drug metabolism and toxicology from the University of Toronto, Canada in 1999, followed by postdoctoral training at the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI). I joined the School of Pharmacy, University of Colorado as an Assistant Professor in 2002, and was promote to Associate and Full Professor in 2009 and 2015, respectively.

Dr. Daniel Leung is a clinician-scientist in pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology who has devoted his career to the study and care of children with cystic fibrosis associated liver disease (CFLD) and CF gastrointestinal and nutritional complications. Kenichi IKEJIMA is currently a Professor of Department of Gastroenterology at Juntendo University Graduate School of Medicine since 2017. His expertise covers both clinical and basic aspects of a variety of liver diseases, especially focusing on steatotic liver disease.

Dr. Girgrah is the Chief Wellness Officer at Ochsner Health. He leads the efforts of the Office of Professional Well-Being (OPW) at Ochsner Health which is charged with improving the professional fulfillment of their employed physicians and healthcare workforce focusing on enhanced practice efficiency and personal and team resilience and building an organizational culture that promotes provider well-being. Dr. Girgrah received both his medical degree and Ph.D. from the University of Toronto.

JO SHAPIRO, MD, FACS, is an associate professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Harvard Medical School and a consultant for the Department of Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. In 2008, she founded the Brigham and Women's Hospital Center for Professionalism and Peer Support, where she served as the director for over 10 years. In 2018, Harvard Medical School gave her the Shirley Driscoll Dean's Award for the Advancement of Women's Careers.

Michele Tana is a gastroenterologist and hepatologist at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Associate Professor of Medicine at UCSF. She is the Principal Investigator for Prospective Observational Study to Understand Liver Diseases (POSULD), she co-founded the North American Alliance for Autoimmune Hepatitis, and her research focuses on health equity.
