Simon Horslen MB ChB FRCPCH FAASLD is a Pediatric Hepatologist and Transplant Physician. He is Director of Pediatric Hepatology at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and is Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Horslen earned his medical degree at the University of Bristol Medical School in England and is a Fellow and Founder Member of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health (UK).

Dr. Mercedes Martinez is a Professor of Pediatrics and Medicine, and serves as the Medical Director of both the Intestinal Transplant Program at the Center for Liver Disease and Abdominal Organ Transplantation and the Pediatric Abdominal Organ Transplantation Program at NewYork-Presbyterian. She provides advanced, comprehensive care for children with a wide range of liver and intestinal conditions, including those experiencing liver or intestinal failure requiring transplantation

James V. Guarrera, MD, FACS is the Executive Director, Jefferson Transplant Institute and Enterprise/ Service Line Leader for Transplantation at Jefferson Health. He is also Nicoletti Family Professor and Vice Chair of Surgery and Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Guarrera is certified by the American Board Surgery, The American Society of Transplant Surgeons and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Surgical Association. Dr. Guarrera received his M.D.

Robert J. Porte, MD, PhD, is Professor of Surgery and an hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) and transplant surgeon at the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. He received his surgical training at the Leiden Medical Center in the Netherlands and additional training in transplant surgery during an ASTS approved fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. He subsequently worked at the University Medical Center in Groningen for 25 years, where he served as Chief of HPB-Surgery, Director of the Liver Transplant Program, and Chair of the Groningen Transplant Center.

Markus Selzner completed a residency in General Surgery at the University Hospitals of Cologne/Germany and Zurich/Switzerland. He performed a three-year research fellowship focusing on hepatic reperfusion injury at the Duke University Medical Center. He continued is training with a clinical fellowship in Liver/ Pancreas Surgery and Liver Transplantation in Zurich, followed by a second fellowship abdominal organ transplantation in Toronto.

Dr. David Mulligan, an acclaimed abdominal organ transplant surgeon from the Mayo Clinic in Arizona and former Chief of the Division of Transplantation and Immunology, director of the Yale-New Haven Transplantation Center (YNHTC), and Professor of Surgery at Yale School of Medicine, has moved to Reno, NV to help build a kidney and liver transplant program for Renown Health. He also perform living donor liver transplants at University of Washington in Seattle intermittently with their existing full time team. <br>Dr.

Dr. Han is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine, and the Program Director of the Transplant Hepatology Fellowship at USC Keck School of Medicine. She also directs the Living Donor Liver Transplant program. Helen Han completed her Internal Medicine residency, Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology Fellowship at Icahn School of Medicine of Mount Sinai in New York City.

Dr. Carmen Chak-Lui Wong is currently an Associate Professor and Principal Investigator in the Department of Pathology and State Key Laboratory of Liver Research at the University of Hong Kong (HKU). She is currently the Assistant Dean of the LKS Faculty of Medicine at HKU.

Prof Dr Sezai Yilmaz was born on September 28, 1962 in Arguvan district of Malatya.Following his specialization in General Surgery and Gastrointestinal Surgery, he received training in liver transplantation since 1998. In 2002, he started a deceased donor liver transplant program in Malatya İnönü University School of Medicine Turgut Özal Medical Center. Due to a lack of deceased donor donation in Turkey, he has started the live donor liver transplant program at the same center in 2005.

Valeria Mas, PhD, MSc, FAST Joseph and Corinne Schwartz Endowed Professor Surgical Sciences Research in Transplantation, Professor of Surgery, Chief Surgical Science Division, School of Medicine, Department of Surgery, University of Maryland. Dr. Mas is the former Director and founder of the Transplant Research Institute, which is part of the Methodist University Transplant Institute associated with University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
