James V. Guarrera, MD, FACS is the Executive Director, Jefferson Transplant Institute and Enterprise/ Service Line Leader for Transplantation at Jefferson Health. He is also Nicoletti Family Professor and Vice Chair of Surgery and Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. She provides advanced, comprehensive care for children with a wide range of liver and intestinal conditions, including those experiencing liver or intestinal failure requiring transplantation

Simon Horslen MB ChB FRCPCH FAASLD is a Pediatric Hepatologist and Transplant Physician. He is Director of Pediatric Hepatology at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and is Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Horslen earned his medical degree at the University of Bristol Medical School in England and is a Fellow and Founder Member of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health (UK). He is a Fellow of the American Society of Transplantation (AST) and of the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease (AASLD)

Valeria Mas, PhD, MSc, FAST Joseph and Corinne Schwartz Endowed Professor Surgical Sciences Research in Transplantation, Professor of Surgery, Chief Surgical Science Division, School of Medicine, Department of Surgery, University of Maryland. Dr. Mas is the former Director and founder of the Transplant Research Institute, which is part of the Methodist University Transplant Institute associated with University of Tennessee Health Science Center.

Prof Dr Sezai Yilmaz was born on September 28, 1962 in Arguvan district of Malatya.Following his specialization in General Surgery and Gastrointestinal Surgery, he received training in liver transplantation since 1998. In 2002, he started a deceased donor liver transplant program in Malatya İnönü University School of Medicine Turgut Özal Medical Center. Due to a lack of deceased donor donation in Turkey, he has started the live donor liver transplant program at the same center in 2005.

A Pennsylvania native, Dr. Vahora is proud to return to his alma mater, The George Washington University, where he currently serves as the Medical Director of Liver Transplantation. He completed his internal medicine residency at Case Western Reserve University's MetroHealth Medical Center, followed by a hepatology fellowship at AdventHealth Transplant Institute (formerly Florida Hospital Transplant Institute) and a gastroenterology fellowship at East Carolina University / Vidant Medical Center.

Dr. Griesemer is an Associate Professor of Surgery and Surgical Director of Living Donor and Pediatric Liver Transplant at NYU Langone. His NIH-funded lab studies xenotransplantation in nonhuman primates, human decedents, and living recipients of xenografts.

Dr. Finger is the Eunice L. Dwan Endowed Chair for Diabetes Research and Professor of Surgery at the University of Minnesota, where his research focuses on organ and tissue preservation. In addition, he is a multi-organ abdominal transplant surgeon with a particular focus on kidney and pancreas transplantation.
