Natural killer (NK) cells have been reported to prompt the maturation of antigen‐presenting cells (APCs), especially for dendritic cells (DCs), but the interaction between NK cells and LSECs is elusive.

Gut barrier dysfunction–induced bacterial translocation and endotoxin release contribute to the pathogenesis of ALD. Probiotic Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (LGG) is known to be beneficial on experimental ALD by reinforcing the intestinal barrier function.
