Vladislav Fomin

Vlad Fomin, MD is currently a liver transplant fellow at Columbia University/Weill Cornell Medicine. He received his MD from the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and completed his internal medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, followed by gastroenterology fellowship at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Fomin's clinical and research interests focus on alcohol-associated liver disease and implementing multidisciplinary care models to optimize outcomes for this patient population.

YOUNG-SUK LIM

Professor Young-Suk Lim currently serves as the Dean of the University of Ulsan College of Medicine and is a Professor in the Department of Gastroenterology, Asan Medical Center, South Korea. Prof. Lim is the President Elect of the Korean Association for the Study of the Liver (KASL) for the term spanning December 2025 to November 2027.<br>He served as the Director of the Clinical Trial Center at Asan Medical Center from April 2015 to June 2019.<br>Prof.

Renumathy Dhanasekaran

Dr. Dhanasekaran is a physician scientist specializing in liver cancer research and patient care. Dr. Dhanasekaran completed her medical school training in India, and pursued her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Florida, Gainesville followed by Gastroenterology fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Rochester and Transplant Hepatology fellowship and PhD in Cancer Biology at Stanford University. Her clinical practice is mainly focused on liver cancer and she runs a clinic specifically for patients with liver masses. At Stanford, Dr.

Young Chang

Dr. Young Chang, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Soonchunhyang University Seoul Hospital, Korea. She trained in Internal Medicine and Hepatology at Seoul National University Hospital, with research interests in metabolic liver disease, viral hepatitis, cirrhosis, and hepatocellular carcinoma. She is an active member of the Korean Association for the Study of the Liver and the Korean Liver Cancer Association, serving on multiple academic committees.

Patricia Bloom

Dr. Patricia Bloom is an Assistant Professor and transplant hepatologist at the Mayo Clinic. She performs clinical and translational research to improve outcomes in decompensated cirrhosis, especially for hepatic encephalopathy. Her goals are to create and test innovative microbiome therapies to treat hepatic encephalopathy and other cirrhosis complications. She is also developing innovative technology solutions for the management of decompensated cirrhosis. She serves as an Associate Editor for Hepatology Communications and on the Mentorship and Membership Committee of AASLD.

Chaowapong Jarasvaraparn

Chaowapong (Chao) Jarasvaraparn, MD graduated from Medical School at Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand. He completed his Pediatric Residency training at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. He completed Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship Program and Transplant Hepatology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Currently he is a pediatric hepatologist at Riley Hospital for Children, Indiana University. His research interests include pediatric MASLD, pediatric liver transplantation and Fontan-associated liver disease.  

Enis Kostallari

I received my PhD degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Paris-Est University in France in 2014. I accomplished my postdoctoral training at Mayo Clinic in 2020. Since then, I am an Assistant Professor at Mayo Clinic where I study the biology of hepatic stellate cells.
