I am an Associate Professor of Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University and serve as faculty for the Stravitz-Sanyal Institute for Liver Disease and Metabolic Health. My areas of interest are clinical trials, biomarker development and steatohepatitis from both alcohol and the Metabolic syndrome.

Rena K. Fox, MD, FACP is Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and an internationally recognized investigator whose work has advanced the integration of hepatology into primary care. Her research spans viral hepatitis, MASLD/MASH, cirrhosis, and hepatocellular carcinoma, with a particular emphasis on implementation science and population health approaches to liver disease.

Dr. Meagan Gray is as Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She founded and directs the MASLD clinic and is the Program Director for the Transplant Hepatology Fellowship Program. Her interests lie in obesity, nutrition, and healthcare disparities for patients living with MASLD.

Dr. Saroja Bangaru is a transplant hepatologist and Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastrointestinal and Liver Diseases at Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. She has dedicated time at Los Angeles General Hospital where she takes care of patients and is working on expanding specialty care for liver patients within the safety net healthcare system. She is interested in implementation science and utilizing principles of implementation science to expand guideline-concordant care within the safety net hospital.

Dr. Brown is a professor of Medicine at Wayne State University and Michigan State University. She is the past Medical Director of Liver Transplantation and Chief of the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Henry Ford Health. She is currently the Medical Director of Transplant Outreach Services and Associate Medical Director of the Henry Ford Transplant Institute. She is the current Chair of the AASLD Foundation Board and past Secretary of AASLD.

Dr. De Giorgi received his PhD in Medical Sciences from the Medical University of Gdansk in Poland, in partnership with the University of Milano-Bicocca in Italy. He performed his postdoctoral studies in lipid metabolism and gene therapy at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he is currently an Assistant Professor.

I am a molecular and vascular biologist specializing in liver heterogeneity, with a broad background in biology and bioinformatics. My research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms that regulate vascular fate, endothelial cell identity, and vascular adaptability, and how these processes influence liver homeostasis. By investigating these mechanisms, my work aims to advance the field of Vascular Medicine and uncover new therapeutic opportunities.

I am a practicing transplant hepatologist and gastroenterologist with interests in clinical informatics and using technology to augment healthcare and health education, the promotion of health equity amongst learners and patients. I also have a special interest in liver diseases in pregnancy and women's liver health.

Mandana Khalili, MD, MAS is a Professor of Medicine at University of California San Francisco (UCSF) and the Director of Clinical and Translational Research in Hepatology and Chief of Clinical Hepatology at UCSF/San Francisco General Hospital. Her research focuses on addressing epidemiology, systemic complications and outcomes, novel therapies, and health policy related to viral hepatitis, steatotic liver disease (metabolic dysfunction-associated and alcohol related), cirrhosis and liver cancer.

Dr. Rohit Loomba is a Professor of Medicine (with tenure), Chief, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, at the University of California at San Diego. He is an internationally recognized thought leader in translational research and innovative clinical trial design in nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), and non-invasive assessment of liver disease using advanced imaging modalities.
