Dr. Romil Saxena is Professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Director of the Liver Pathology Service, and Director of the Gastrointestinal and Liver Pathology Fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, USA. Dr. Saxena completed fellowships in Liver Pathology at King's College Hospital, London, Liver Pathology and Gene Therapy at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, NYC and in Gastrointestinal Pathology at Yale University Medical Center.

Daniela Allende MD MBA is a Professor of Pathology. She has served in many leadership roles, including Vice Chair of Research, Director of Clinical Affairs for the Pathology Division, GI/HPB subspecialty director and currently as Board of Governor Professional Advancement Council, Chair of the Governance Committee, and Vice Chair of the Conflict of Interest and Innovation Management Committee at Cleveland Clinic. She is the President of the Latin American Pathology Foundation and Vice President of Hans Popper Hepatopathology Society.

Dr. Thomas D. Schiano is Professor of Medicine in the Division of Liver Diseases at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and is the Medical Director of the Adult Liver Transplant program, Medical Director of Intestinal Transplantation, and Medical Director of VCA Transplantation at the Recanati/Miller Transplant Institute at the Mount Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Kakar is a Professor of Pathology and Chief of GI-Hepatobiliary Pathology at University of California San Francisco (UCSF). He completed medical school in India and pathology residency at University of Illinois at Chicago followed by fellowships in GI/Hepatobiliary Pathology and Molecular Pathology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He joined UCSF in 2002, where he has served as the Chief of the GI/Hepatobiliary Pathology and GI/Hepatobiliary Pathology fellowship director since 2015.

Dr. Nicole Loo completed her Gastroenterology Fellowship - Hepatology Investigator Track at Yale New Haven Hospital under the mentorship of Dr. Guadalupe Garcia-Tsao. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Transplant Hepatology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She is currently a transplant hepatologist and Program Director of the Transplant Hepatology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. She loves the liver so much she named her son, "O-liver."

Dawn Drazek is a hepatology nurse practitioner with 20 years of practice in hepatology. Dawn is an Associate Fellow of the AASLD (AF-AASLD), former AASLD NP/PA Clinical Hepatology Fellowship awardee, and was awarded as an AASLD Mid-Career Hepatology Scholar. She has been practicing in liver disease and transplant since 2005 as a liver transplant coordinator at the Penn Transplant Institute, as a Hepatology nurse practitioner with Atrium Health since 2015, and recently joined Pedestal Health (formerly Target RWE) as the APP Clinical Lead for Hepatology.

Amanda Chaney is a nurse practitioner and Senior Director of Advanced Practice Provider Services at Cleveland Clinic in Florida, staffing over 470 nurse practitioners (including nurse anesthetists), physician assistants, and certified anesthesiologist assistants. Prior to this role, Dr. Chaney served at Mayo Clinic as chair of advanced practice and practiced as a transplant hepatology nurse practitioner.

Oren Fix, MD, MSc, FAASLD is Professor of Medicine, Medical Director of Liver Transplantation, a Lead Informatics Physician, and the Associate Program Director of the Clinical Informatics Fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is board certified in Clinical Informatics, a certified Epic Physician Builder, Chair of the Epic Hepatology Specialty Steering Board, and an Epic Exemplar for hepatology. He serves the AASLD as Councilor-at-Large on the Governing Board, Associate Editor of Liver Transplantation, and co-chair of the Workforce Task Force.

Dr. Volk is a transplant hepatologist and health services researcher. He previously ran a large liver transplant program at Loma Linda, and currently serves as Chair of Medicine at Baylor Scott and White.
