Teresa L Davidson

Teresa Davidson is the Executive Director of the Mid-South Liver Alliance located in Nashville, TN. Mid-South Liver Alliance is committed to improving, educating, advocating, and supporting children, adults, and families impacted by Chronic liver Disease in the mid-South states of TN, KY, AL, MS, AR, and LA. Before becoming the ED for the Mid-South Liver Alliance, Teresa served as a National Engagement Director South for the American Liver Foundation and as CEO for the Tennessee Kidney Foundation.

Bruce Luxon

Bruce Luxon, MD, PhD is chairman and chief of service for the Department of Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington. His clinical focus is in hepatology, with expertise in autoimmune hepatitis, cholestatic liver diseases and viral hepatitis, including hepatitis B and C. <br><br>Dr. Luxon has served on numerous NIH study sections and the research committees of AASLD and ACG. He is a fellow of the AASLD.

Carolin Lackner

Carolin Lackner is a Professor of Pathology at the Medical University of Graz, Austria. She is specialized in hepatopathology with particular interest in steatotic liver diseases and serves as a central pathologist in clinical trials of MASH.

Nikhil Kalita

Nikhil Kalita holds degrees from accelerated programs at the George Washington University. He joined the UC San Diego Health MASLD Research Center in June 2024. His work focuses on coordinating clinical research studies on non-invasive diagnostics of liver disease, focusing on patients with diabetes, cirrhosis, and MASLD. He also contributes to literature reviews and analyzes clinical and national datasets like NHANES to support ongoing research.

Ludovic Saba

Ludovic Saba is a second-year internal medicine resident at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. He is interested in pursuing a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology. His research focuses on metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), alcoholic liver disease, and healthcare disparities. Prior to residency, Dr. Saba completed two years of clinical outcomes research at the Cleveland Clinic Florida.

Nadege Gunn

Dr. Gunn bridges MASH clinical trials with communities in dire need, and has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles. She trained at the University of Florida College of Medicine and completed fellowships in gastroenterology and hepatology. Dr. Gunn earned the rank of U.S. Air Force Major and was Chief of Gastroenterology at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. She founded Impact Research Institute, has taught at Texas A&M and Dell College of Medicine at UT Austin, and is an adjunct faculty member at Baylor University. Dr.

Natalia Nieto

I am the Director of the Liver Research Program at the University of Illinois Chicago. I am actively involved in the Center for Alcohol Research, in the T32 Training Grants from the Cancer Center and the Department of Endocrinology, and in mentoring Graduate students and Postdoctoral fellows.
