Dr. Ibrahim is a Professor of Pediatrics and Physiology; she is a pediatric transplant hepatologist and a physician scientist. Samar is the Principal Investigator of the NIH-funded lipotoxicity and liver inflammation laboratory at Mayo Clinic. She studies mechanisms of liver injury and inflammation in metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH) with the goal to identify novel biomarkers and mechanism-based therapeutic targets.

Dr. Patricia Bloom is an Assistant Professor and transplant hepatologist at the Mayo Clinic. She performs clinical and translational research to improve outcomes in decompensated cirrhosis, especially for hepatic encephalopathy. Her goals are to create and test innovative microbiome therapies to treat hepatic encephalopathy. She is also developing innovative technology solutions for the management of decompensated cirrhosis. She serves as an Associate Editor for Hepatology Communications and is Chair Elect of the Communications and Technology Committee of AASLD.
Dr. Goel is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Stanford University. She is a transplant hepatologist in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology with a specific clinical and research interest in autoimmune liver diseases including autoimmune hepatitis, PSC and PBC. She serves as the PI on several clinical trials related to these diseases. She is the Program Director of the ACGME Transplant Hepatology Fellowship and the Associate Program Director of the Gastroenterology Fellowship at Stanford.
Dr. Shah serves as the Mr. and Mrs. Ronald F. Kinney Executive Dean of Research Honoring Ronald F. Kinney, Jr. and the Carol M. Gatton Professor of Digestive Diseases Research, Honoring Peter Carryer, M.D. at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. He has been on staff at Mayo Clinic for 30 years and previously served as Chairs of the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and Department of Medicine. Dr.
Pranoti Mandrekar, PhD, Professor and Associate Vice-Chair of Faculty Development, Dept of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology and Program director, Translational Science Program, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and Director, Junior Faculty Development Program UMass Chan Medical School (UMCMS). Dr. Mandrekar's research focuses on investigating the mechanisms of alcohol-mediated liver disease, specifically inflammation and fibrosis.

Dr. Sterling received his BS in Chemistry and Natural Science from Muhlenberg College in Allentown Pa in 1982, a Master's in Biochemistry from the University of Texas in Austin in 1984, a MD from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia in 1988 and a Master's in Biostatistics and Clinic Research from VCU in 2007. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine in 1991 and Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology from VCU in 1994.
I am a consultant in Hepatology and Professor of Practice in Metabolic Liver Diseases at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, London. My area of expertise, includes MASLD. I am the co-director of the WHO Collaborating Centre in Steatotic Liver Disease.
Dr. Fontana is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at the University of Michigan. Over the past 2 decades, Dr Fontana has been involved in prospective registry studies regarding the etiologies and outcomes of acute liver failure and idiosyncratic DILI and clinical trials in viral hepatitis. Dr. Fontana is the Co-PI of the Drug Induced Liver Injury Network Steering Committee and is conducting studies on genetic susceptibility factors and outcomes of DILI.
