Dr. Avesh J. Thuluvath is a Transplant Hepatologist and Physician-Scientist at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Prior to joining the faculty at Columbia, Dr. Thuluvath completed his Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology training at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. At Northwestern, he also completed a NIH T32 post-doctoral fellowship in outcomes research with a Masters in Clinical Investigation. Dr.

Allison Kwong is a hepatologist who specializes in the care of patients with chronic liver disease. Her research in alcohol-associated liver disease has been supported by the AASLD Foundation Clinical, Translational, and Outcomes Research Award and a NIAAA K23 Mentored Career Development Award. Her clinical and research interests include cirrhosis, portal hypertension, and outcomes before and after liver transplantation.

Dr. Ram Subramanian is Professor of Medicine and Surgery at the Emory University School of Medicine. He is the Chief of Hepatology, and Director of Liver Critical Care Services at Emory University. His fellowship training involved combined training in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine and Gastroenterology & Transplant Hepatology, with a goal to focus his clinical and research interests in the field of hepatic critical care and inpatient hepatology.

Cynthia Moylan, MD is a Professor of Medicine and co-Director of the GI Clinical Research Unit at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. She also serves as the Director of Hepatology at the Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Chair of the MASLD Field Advisory Board. Dr. Moylan received her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and completed residency and fellowship in GI and Transplant Hepatology at Duke University.

Silvia Vilarinho is a physician-scientist who investigates the genetic and molecular basis of liver diseases using genomics and human samples, having identified five novel genetic liver diseases. Her research aims to discover new genes important for liver function and to use cell biology and animal models to determine the specific mechanism(s) linking mutant gene to disease as a roadmap to further understand and treat rare and common liver diseases.

Cara Mack, MD is a pediatric transplant hepatologist who joined the Medical College of Wisconsin (WI) and Children's WI in 2022 as Professor of Pediatrics and Division Chief for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition. Prior to this, Cara was faculty and Director of the Pediatric GI Fellowship Training Program and Medical Director of the Pediatric Liver Center at University of Colorado, Children's Hospital CO (2002-2022).

Dr. Kris Kowdley is Director of Liver Institute Northwest and professor, Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine at Washington State University and Senior Scientific Advisor and Medical Director at Velocity Clinical Research. He received his B.S. in Biology and Anthropology as a member of the Dean's List at Columbia University, and his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Oregon Health Science University and a Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Tufts University School of Medicine.

I am an academic transplant hepatologist at UCSD with strong interest in medical education, and transplant process improvement and outcomes. Clinical interests include transplant oncology, PSC and risk stratification and outcomes pertaining to cardiovascular disease in liver transplantation. Serve as lead of LDLT program

Michael Kriss, MD, FAST, is a hepatologist at Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, Minnesota, where he provides advanced hepatology care to patients throughout the Northland. Previously, he was on the faculty at the University of Colorado, serving as a transplant hepatologist within the liver transplant program. During his time there, he held several leadership roles, including Physician Informaticist for the Colorado Center for Transplantation Care, Research and Education (CCTCARE) and Associate Program Director of the Transplant Hepatology Fellowship.

I am an Associate Professor of Medicine and Program Director of the Transplant Hepatology Fellowship at the University of Kansas Health System. I'm a gastroenterologist, transplant hepatologist, and clinical informaticist at KU. I currently serve as the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Informatics Officer and Solid Organ Transplant Informatics Lead. I'm an active member in the AASLD Communication and Technology Committee in addition to the Clinical Informatics and Digital Health Special Interest Group.
