Anwaar Saeed, MD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine and the Chief of Gastrointestinal Oncology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. Dr. Saeed's clinical research is focused on developmental therapeutics and immune modulatory approaches in gastrointestinal malignancies as well as immunoprevention in the high-risk gastrointestinal cancer populations. She is a prolific clinical researcher and multiple award winner.

Dr. Bin Gao received both his M.D. and Ph.D. from China, respectively. Following postdoctoral training at the NIAAA, National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Medical College of Virginia, he served as a tenure track Assistant Professor at Medical College of Virginia from 1995 to 2000. In 2000, he accepted a tenure track position and established the Section of Liver Biology at the NIAAA, NIH. In 2009, Dr. Gao established the Laboratory of Liver Diseases and became the Laboratory Chief of Liver Diseases at NIAAA, NIH, and he was promoted to Deputy Scientific Director at NIAAA in 2023, NIH.

Kyle Yuquimpo is a gastroenterology fellow and upcoming transplant hepatology fellow at the University of Kansas Medical Center in the physician scientist training pathway currently completing research training in the Weinman Lab. He is currently studying the effect of alcohol and high fat diet on macrophage evolution and development in the liver.

Laura E. Nagy received her BS in Biology in 1979 from Yale University and PhD in Nutrition in 1986 from the University of California Berkeley. She is currently a Professor of Molecular Medicine and Staff in Inflammation and Immunity and Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Cleveland Clinic. She also holds adjunct Professor appointments at Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland State University. She is Director of the Liver Disease Research Center in the Lerner Research Institute at Cleveland Clinic. Dr.

Meaghan Phipps is a transplant hepatologist at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Her clinical practice focuses on advanced liver disease, including the care of patients before and after liver transplantation. She has a specific interest in transplant oncology and the management of liver cancer. She also serves as Associate Program Director for Columbia and Cornell's Transplant Hepatology Fellowship.

Dr. Naga Chalasani currently serves as David W. Crabb Professor of Medicine and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Indiana University School of Medicine and Indiana University Health. He previously served as the Director of the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology (2007-2020) and Chair of the Department of Medicine (2020-2021, interim) at Indiana University School of Medicine.

Dr. Ariana Stuart completed her medical school training at the Oregon Health & Science University and is now completing her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Washington. She plans to pursue a fellowship in Gastroenterology and has numerous research interests in this field, with a specific focus on patient accessibility to medical care. Additionally, she is interested in the intersection of data science and healthcare, specifically in how machine learning can be used to advance health-related research.

Dr. Anjana Pillai is a Professor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Chicago. She is the Medical Director of the University of Chicago's Transplant Institute and Director of the multidisciplinary liver tumor program. She is also active in national and international societies serving on several committees including as the current Chair of the Liver Cancer SIG of the AASLD, Governing Board member of the International Liver Cancer Association (ILCA), and Councilor-at-Large for the International Liver Transplant Society (ILTS).

Tamar Taddei, MD, FAASLD, is Professor of Medicine and Vice Chief (Digestive Diseases) at Yale School of Medicine and Chief of Digestive Diseases at the VA Connecticut Health Care System. She serves the VA National GI and Hepatology Program as Chair of the HCC Subcommittee of the VA Hepatology Field Advisory Board. Her clinical interests focus on developing systems and programs to deliver outstanding multidisciplinary care to people with liver cancer.
