Dr. Sterling received his BS in Chemistry and Natural Science from Muhlenberg College in Allentown Pa in 1982, a Master's in Biochemistry from the University of Texas in Austin in 1984, a MD from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia in 1988 and a Master's in Biostatistics and Clinic Research from VCU in 2007. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine in 1991 and Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology from VCU in 1994.

I am a consultant in Hepatology and Professor of Practice in Metabolic Liver Diseases at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, London. My area of expertise, includes MASLD. I am the co-director of the WHO Collaborating Centre in Steatotic Liver Disease.

Dr. Fontana is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at the University of Michigan. Over the past 2 decades, Dr Fontana has been involved in prospective registry studies regarding the etiologies and outcomes of acute liver failure and idiosyncratic DILI and clinical trials in viral hepatitis. Dr. Fontana is the Co-PI of the Drug Induced Liver Injury Network Steering Committee and is conducting studies on genetic susceptibility factors and outcomes of DILI.

Dr. Wegermann is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Duke University. She completed her residency, chief residency, GI and transplant hepatology fellowships at Duke. Her research interest is MASLD in persons with HIV. She is currently funded by an ACG Junior Faculty Development Award.

Dr. Mitchell Mah'moud is a distinguished physician, educator, and academic leader who serves as Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology at Duke University School of Medicine. With decades of experience in clinical care, medical education, research, and professional leadership, he has established a reputation as an expert in liver diseases.

Gi-Ae Kim, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine and a hepatologist at Kyung Hee University Hospital in Seoul, South Korea.

I am Prof. Won-Mook Choi, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Gastroenterology at Asan Medical Center. I received my medical degree from Seoul National University College of Medicine in 2010 and subsequently earned a PhD from KAIST in 2019.

I completed my internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Seoul National University Hospital in 2015, followed by a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Asan Medical Center, which I completed in 2021.

Dr. Amy Kim is a transplant hepatologist and physician-scientist at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Her research focuses on predictive modeling and liquid biopsy approaches, including circulating tumor DNA and circulating tumor cells, to improve early detection and prognostication of hepatocellular carcinoma.

Joseph C. Ahn, M.D., M.S. is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic with joint appointments in Gastroenterology & Hepatology and Artificial Intelligence & Informatics. A transplant hepatologist and AI researcher, his work applies generative modeling, synthetic data, and digital twins to accelerate clinical trial innovation in advanced liver diseases.
