I am an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner and successfully completed a 1-year American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases Fellowship that focused on clinical care in hepatology from 2008-2009. I am a practicing Florida Registered Nurse Practitioner, the Assistant Director Clinical Research/Clinical Programs Coordinator-Hepatology for University of Florida Health.

Pedro Ochoa-Allemant is a Clinical Fellow in Advanced/Transplant Hepatology at the University of Pennsylvania. Born and raised in Lima, Peru, Dr. Ochoa-Allemant earned his medical degree from the Universidad de San Martin de Porres. He completed a two-year postdoctoral research fellowship at Harvard Medical School, followed by an Internal Medicine residency at Yale School of Medicine, where he graduated with an Investigation Distinction.

She aspires to build a career as a clinician-researcher, with a focus on health services research aimed at addressing health inequities among patients with decompensated cirrhosis. Her research interests in health services research includes work grounded in amplifying patient perspectives to inform more equitable and patient-centered models of care.

I am a transplant hepatologist at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. I have a special interest in alcohol-related liver disease, and I am the Director of UNC's Integrated Healthcare for Alcohol Use and Liver Disease (IHEAL) Clinic. I am active in AASLD through my work as a co-founder of Liver Fellow Network and currently as a Chair-Elect of AASLD's Practice Metrics Committee.

Dr. Lizaola-Mayo is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. She is a Transplant Hepatologist and is the Medical Director of the Transplant Hepatology Center at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. Dr. Lizaola-Mayo is interested and has focused her research on metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), health disparities and post-transplant outcomes.
