Jeffrey V. Lazarus

Prof Jeffrey V Lazarus (PhD, MIH, MA) is a full professor at the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy and the head of the Public Health Liver Group at ISGlobal, where he is a research professor. His decade-long career at WHO's Regional Office for Europe was followed by serving as the Vice-Chair of the EASL International Liver Foundation, Board Chair of the foundation AFEW International and as the first director of Health Systems Global.

Necati Ormeci

He was born in Isparta, Turkey in 1952. <br>In 1976, He graduated from the Ankara University Medical Faculty, where in 1980 he became a specialist in Internal Medicine, and in 1985 in Gastroenterology. In 1988, He became an associate professor and in 1994, a professor of Gastroenterology.<br> <br>As a Monbusho Scholarship recipient, he studied the early diagnosis of cancer in the gastrointestinal system for one and a half years in Japan. In 1990, he studied cytologic and histopathologic examination of stomach cancer for four months, again in Japan.

Nelia Hernandez

Nelia Hernández (Montevideo, 1969) is a clinical physician who completed gastroenterology training at the University of Uruguay (UDELAR). Her internships at renowned hepatology centers in France and Argentina were responsible for her early decision to dedicate herself exclusively to assisting patients with liver and biliary diseases, obtaining a diploma in hepatology from the Faculty of Medicine of UDELAR.

Tamar H Taddei

Tamar H. Taddei, MD, FAASLD, currently serves as Professor of Medicine (Digestive Diseases) and Vice Chief of Faculty Development (Digestive Diseases) at Yale School of Medicine and Chief of Gastroenterology at the Veterans Affairs Connecticut Health Care System. Dr. Taddei received her undergraduate, medical, and clinical medicine training at Georgetown University. She obtained fellowship training in gastroenterology and hepatology at Yale University. Melina I Manolas

Dr. Melina Manolas is a board-certified internal medicine physician, endocrinologist, and Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. She completed her MD and MPH degrees at Tulane University, residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell, and fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at Montefiore–Albert Einstein. She is a general endocrinologist but specializes in hepato-endocrinology with a focus on MASLD and MASH.

Oren K Fix

Oren Fix, MD, MSc, FAASLD is Professor of Medicine, Medical Director of Liver Transplantation, a Lead Informatics Physician, and the Associate Program Director of the Clinical Informatics Fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is board certified in Clinical Informatics, a certified Epic Physician Builder, Chair of the Epic Hepatology Specialty Steering Board, and an Epic Exemplar for hepatology. He serves the AASLD as Councilor-at-Large on the Governing Board, Associate Editor of Liver Transplantation, and co-chair of the Workforce Task Force.

Cynthia Levy

I am a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Digestive Health and Liver Diseases and is the Associate Director of the Schiff Center for Liver Diseases at the University of Miami. <br> <br>My clinical research program focuses on understanding the natural history, managing symptoms, and designing and implementing clinical trials for autoimmune and cholestatic liver diseases, as well as the porphyrias. I also serve as chair for the AASLD practice guidelines committee and as a steering committee member for the Cholestatic and Autoimmune Liver Diseases SIG in AASLD.

Christopher L Bowlus

Christopher L. Bowlus is the Lena Valente Professor and Chief of the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of California Davis School of Medicine. Dr. Bowlus has an active research program that bridges the basic and clinical aspects of PBC and PSC with the goal to bring more effective treatments to patients with these diseases. He is a founding member of the International PSC Study Group (IPSCSG) and leads the US-based Consortium for Autoimmune Liver Disease (CALiD).

Bettina Hansen

Bettina Hansen, PhD, is Professor of Clinical Biostatistics at Erasmus MC, the Netherlands, and at the University of Toronto, Canada. She is Program Director of the MSc Health Sciences Research Program at Erasmus MC. She studied statistics at the Institute of Mathematical Statistics, University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and earned her PhD on treatment effects in chronic hepatitis B and C from the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Erasmus MC. <br><br>Her research targets are chronic hepatitis, autoimmune liver diseases, and rare pediatric liver diseases.
