I am a Professor of Medicine and Medical Director of the GI service line for the UPMC HS. I am a therapeutic endoscopist and have a continued translational research effort aimed at improving the diagnosis of pancreaticobiliary malignancy through molecular diagnostics.

Dr. Dhanasekaran is a physician scientist specializing in liver cancer research and patient care. Dr. Dhanasekaran completed her medical school training in India, and pursued her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Florida, Gainesville followed by Gastroenterology fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Rochester and Transplant Hepatology fellowship and PhD in Cancer Biology at Stanford University. Her clinical practice is mainly focused on liver cancer and she runs a clinic specifically for patients with liver masses. At Stanford, Dr.

Arpit Amin, MD MPH is an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Abdominal Transplant and Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and University Hospital in Newark, NJ.

Dr. Kirchner is an Associate Professor of Surgery in the Division of Abdominal Transplantation at Stanford University. Her clinical practice encompasses adult and pediatric liver and kidney transplantation from living and deceased donors, as well as hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery, with a particular focus on total pancreatectomy with islet auto-transplantation (TPIAT) for chronic pancreatitis.

Dr. Shlomovitz is a minimally invasive surgeon, therapeutic endoscopist and interventional radiologist at the University Health Network in Toronto, Canada. He is an Associate Professor in both the Department of Surgery and Medical Imaging at the University of Toronto. His research concentrates on the development of hybrid therapeutic techniques with a specific interest in advanced image guidance.

Dr. David C. Fipps, DO, is a transplant psychiatrist with subspecialty training in Consultation Liaison psychiatry and Addictions Psychiatry at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Embedded within the Mayo Clinic Transplant Center, he provides psychiatric consultation and psychosocial assessment for candidates and recipients of heart, lung, liver, kidney, and vascular composite allograft transplantation.

Dr. Abhinav Humar is the Clinical Director of the Thomas E. Starzl Transplantation Institute and the Chief, Division of Transplantation in the Department of Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Babak Orandi is an abdominal transplant surgeon, obesity medicine specialist, and R01-funded investigator at NYU Langone, where he is an Associate Professor of Surgery and Medicine and also the founding director of the PeriOperative Weight Evaluation and Reduction (POWER) Clinic, which is focused on helping patients lose weight to facilitate solid organ transplant and living donation.

Dr. Ramesh Batra is a Tenured Professor of Surgery at the University of Arizona, where he serves as Division Chief and Director of Abdominal Transplantation at the Banner University Medical Center.
