Marco M Carbone

Marco Carbone is Professor of Hepatology at the University of Milano-Bicocca and a honorary hepatologist at the Niguarda Liver Transplant Centre in Milan. His research is dedicated to understanding the mechanisms underlying autoimmune and cholestatic liver disorders. He founded and co-chairs the Italian PBC and PSC Registries, sits on the steering committee of the Global PBC Study Group, and serves as Deputy Chair of the PBC Foundation Medical Advisory Board.

Kris V. Kowdley

Dr. Kris Kowdley is Director of Liver Institute Northwest and professor, Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine at Washington State University and Senior Scientific Advisor and Medical Director at Velocity Clinical Research. He received his B.S. in Biology and Anthropology as a member of the Dean's List at Columbia University, and his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Ana Lleo

I obtained my degree in Medicine from the University of Milan, Italy, in 2000, completed my clinical training and received the Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Hepatology in 2006. In the same year I started my PhD at the University of California-Davis (Davis, CA, USA) in the division of Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology, under the supervision of Prof. M. Eric Gershwin. During my PhD I focused on the pathogenesis of PBC and the biliary specificity, a major unanswered question in PBC.

Robert J Wong

Robert Wong, MD, MS, FACG, FAASLD is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine (Affiliated) in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Stanford University School of Medicine, and staff physician in the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Section at Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Healthcare System. He completed gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at Stanford University School of Medicine, where he also completed a Master's in Epidemiology and Clinical Research.

Gupse Adali

Dr. Gupse Adalı is a hepatologist based in Istanbul, Türkiye. Her clinical and research interests include MASLD, HCC, and liver transplantation and long-term metabolic outcomes and ACLF. She is actively involved in multicenter research collaborations and mentoring hepatology fellows. Dr. Adalı also serves on the governing board of the Turkish Association for the Study of the Liver (TASL).

Jose Debes MD PhD is a Professor in Medicine at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. His work centers on mechanisms of hepatitis-related liver cancer as well as awareness on risk factors for hepatitis B and liver cancer. Jörn M Schattenberg
