Dr. Brett Fortune serves as Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of the Miami Transplant Institute (MTI), a unique affiliation between Jackson Health System and UHealth – University of Miami Health System. In addition to his executive leadership role, he is an active member of the liver transplant team. Dr. Fortune is a nationally recognized transplant hepatologist with extensive experience in liver disease and transplant operations. I am an MD PhD trained surgeon scientist who practices adult and pediatric liver and kidney transplant at UC San Diego Heath and Rady Children's Hospital where I serve as surgical director of liver transplantation and the co-director of organ perfusion and preservation. I completed my medical and doctoral training at Loyola University Chicago and went on to complete my surgical residency and transplant fellowship at Stanford University.

Anji Wall is an abdominal transplant surgeon and bioethicist at the Baylor Simmons Transplant Institute in Dallas, TX, where she also serves as the vice chair of research and the medical director of the Baylor Scott and White Transplant Center for Innovation, Science, Policy Research and Ethics (INSPIRE). Her research interests include transplant policy ethics, innovative strategies to expand deceased organ donation, and the ethical challenges with deceased organ donation.

Dr. Mellinger is an Associate Professor and Senior Staff Physician in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry at Henry Ford Health-Michigan State University where she practices clinically in general and transplant hepatology with a special focus on alcohol-related liver disease. She holds her medical degree from Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine, and Masters' degrees in English Literature and History of Medicine from Oxford University (United Kingdom) as a Rhodes Scholar and a Masters in Health and Healthcare Research from the University of Michigan.

Dr. Sonya MacParland, PhD, is the Research Institute Director and a senior scientist in the Ajmera Transplant Centre at Toronto General Hospital, co-scientific director of the Schwartz Reisman Liver Research Centre and a Canada Research Chair Tier 2 in liver immunobiology. She is a Professor in the University of Toronto's department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology and the department of Immunology.

My lab studies the signaling processes and pathways in rare liver diseases such as cholestasis and hepatic porphyria, with a focus on cellular reprogramming, autophagy, and cell-cell interactions.

Prof. Dr. Frank Tacke, MD, PhD, MBHA, is the Director of Hepatology & Gastroenterology at the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Berlin, Germany, one of the largest universities hospitals in Europe. He was educated in Hannover, Germany; Houston (M.D. Anderson Cancer Centre); New York (Mount Sinai Medical Centre); and Aachen, Germany (University Hospital Aachen, Germany). He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology and Diabetology, Critical Care Medicine, Transplantation Medicine and Infectious Diseases.

Rajanikanth Vadigepalli is a Professor of Internal Medicine, Director of Medical AI Education, and the Senior Associate Dean of Research at the UNM School of Medicine. His research group integrates systems engineering, bioinformatics, digital twins, and artificial intelligence to study autonomic dysfunction, heart failure, and alcohol-induced liver failure.
